Christmas day

After we open our gifts from Santa we get dressed and head to Nena and Poppy's for lunch and our gift exchange. A#2 and Poppy have a great relationship. She was telling me the other day how proud she is of her Poppy. He has been on a mission to get healthier and so far has lost over 65 pounds. Way to go Pops!

A#2 took most of these pictures with her new camera. I think she is doing a great job so far.
This is Fost-a man. He does not look happy at all in this picture. If you ask him what he's gonna be when he grows up, a vet! He's a little like his Momma, my sister, he LOVES animals. especially polar bears and dinosaurs!

Nena and one of her new sweaters.

Me and one of my new shirts.

A#2 took lots of pics of her Daddy.

And there is the 2 of them together. This is the ultimate Daddy's' girl, that's for sure.

Checking out the features on her camera. A#2 and her Nena in black and white. I LOVE this picture!!!!!!!!

A#1 was little excited. Season 1 and 2 of HOUSE!! He's already watched season 1.

Christmas morning

On their way down to see if the big man has been here. A#2 came into our room at 3:45 am and said she knew he had been here was it time to get up? Good grief! No honey just a little bit longer and then we'll get up. She made her way back in at 7 am and said has it been long enough? She went and woke her brother and sister and the fun began. A#3 looks like she is still half asleep.

I think he just dumped his whole sled in our family room. A#3 started as soon as she saw the first gift, not even knowing if it was hers or not.
A#2 got a cool new red camera.

That's not a look of excitement. That's her coughing her little head off.

Calm and cool A#1. He thought he knew what he was getting but he was a little surprised when he got something else. Hopefully his new GPS will help him find his way home. It's really no wonder the boy is gonna fly planes. There are no streets to remember.

Hubby got a surprise from someone. He has been wanting some speakers for outside so that when we are out there he can listen to music or a ballgame or even a race. They are so cool, they look like rocks and you can hook them up to the tv or a mp3 player or something old school like a radio.

A#3 was excited to get her webkin. She watches A#2 on the computer with hers all the time.

Yep that's me, Mrs Clause. A#2 made some of the neatest things at school for us. This is my new 2009 calendar. I love it!!!

Crhistmas Eve nite

After we left G-ma and G-daddy's we took a little drive to look at some Christmas lights. This is something we try to do every year but were a little late doing so this year. Once we got home I realized that we needed cookies for Santa. We did not bake at all this year, truth be told I had been around too many sweets already and just didn't need the temptation in my house. Thankfully I had some cookie dough mix in the pantry so they whipped it together and made Santa some cookies and even added sprinkles.

A#2 loves to bake so she took over.
Time for our new pj's. This year I wised up and made them all sit on the same couch so I only had to take one picture instead of 3. DUH!

Love you 3A's!!

What will the pj's look like this year?

Hubby took this one as I was sitting with him.

If I look a little worried it's because I am. Hubby is in charge of picking out my pj's and let's just say he was describing what they looked like before I opened them and it was not something I thought our kids should witness. In usual W.B. style, he was joking!

I love them and they are so comfy. I would've liked the other too but I was just concerned for my kids health ;)

Hubby opened his next. I do believe that next year he will be the one to have the joke pulled on him.

After pj's we read SMALL ONE as a family and pray together before the kiddos say goodnight.

Christmas Eve

Tradition has it that on Christmas Eve we go to my Grandma and Grand-Daddy's house for family time. All of my Dad's family is invited over for food and fellowship and sad to say it's the only time some of us actually see each other and we live in the same town. There are those that come from out of town, even out of state, Texas, so that's exciting for us to be able to catch up and give out some hugs. I will warn you there are a lot of pictures ahead. I didn't take them all, I borrowed a few of them :) Me and A#1. Have I mentioned him before?

Me and my sister. Not sure but I think we both had food in our mouths. I know I did!
This is my daddy. He has been having some major knee issues and has been in a lot of pain. Trouble is, it's not the knee that he had replaced. They are now treating him for gout and we are praying the meds will help. I'm not sure what we are all watching but it must be good.

She-J and B. These 2 have been to war together. Literally! Praise God they are both home and safe where they belong.

The kids love to play in Grandmas books and toys. A#2 and Cam and Pey.

These next few are just crowd shots. As you will see, there a quite a few of us.

My sis and her hubby.

After the cousins leave it's time for us to exchange gifts with the immediate family. Poor A#3 has been sick for 2 weeks at this point and this is how she spent some of her day. She has been taking breathing treatments every 4 hours for a week now and STILL has a horrible cough and cold.

Bless her heart!

We were able to wake her up in time to unwrap her gifts. Lack of sleep was not going to stop her.

Mr Cam had one desire for Christmas. A Pogo Stick and his Aunt Ninie had to oblige. Let's just say he was a little excited. I did tell him however, if you break any bones, do not call and tell me. Love you Cam Rod!
