I'll start here...

Because I'm so behind on my posts I figured I would start with the Birthday party we had for Jesus at preschool. Aren't they adorable? Our preschool Miss S is the bestest teacher ever! The children were all given a present to open and inside the received a lollipop, which is the coolest thing ever for a 3 year old, and they all had a piece of paper with one letter that in the end spelled Jesus. How cool!

They even had balloons, a special snack and sang Happy Birthday.

The kiddos after they spelled J-E-S-U-S. (of course they have their mouths full of dum-dums)

I will be posting more as the days go by to finally catch up with Christmas. Thanks for stopping by.

All I want for Christmas...

Is a maid and a babysitter so I can go on a date with my hubby, or maybe a maid that will babysit. Is that really too much to ask for? Why is it that everything else can get put on the calendar except for time with one another? Our calendar is so full that it scares me to walk near the fridge (yeah right) and to know that a new year is right around the corner is just so darn amazing. Again, can't someone just stop the clock?

B-Ball

This is what excites our girl! Yep a basketball. The son never, ever got excited to receive any type of ball. The daughter on the other hand! That's my girl. So excited in fact, she slept with it and just about mamed her sister when she took off with it.

Addie Loo Who!

Isn't she adorable. A had her PTA program on thursday evening and can you guess what she was? That's right, a WHO! They had the cutest play. The best part of all is that they got to dress up at school so they could do the show 2 times during the day also. I must say, she's the prettiest Who there was :)

Was I wrong?

I thought it was December! It is in the high 70's and who in the world can get ready for Christmas in this weather! Can you say Spring time? My kids are so confused. One day they have to wear winter coats to school and then the girls can wear their capris on the next day. I normally don't like winter weather but when it's 2 weeks away from Christmas I would like to have the fire burning and the pot of chili cooking. Bring on the SNOW!!!!!! I love snow days when the kids stay home and wear their pj's all day except when they're outside on the sleighs. I guess it's just because sometimes I'm an all day wearing pj kinda gal myself. I pray the day has been wonderful for you so far and I pray we will have December weather soon :)

Well, it's official.....

I'm pooped de dooped! Let's just say that W and I were shopping intil 11:30 last night and we're STILL not finished. How can it be that every year I say I'm going to do better and then, here we go again. HELP!!!! I know this is not even the true meaning of Christmas and I think that's what drives me sooo crazy. I have figured out that we buy for 20-28 family members and that's not even including my sisters and their spouses because we don't exchange any longer. Good grief Charlie Brown! sigh :(

On a lighter Christmas note the kids are soooo ready. Although what's up with them telling you what they want and then when you're almost finshed, all of a sudden there's one particular thing that they won't stop telling everyone they are getiing. Sorry kids!

This year's breakfast with Santa was great as usual. Only there were 2 things missing, Daddy and big brother. Brother was taking his SAT's and Daddy was doing his Deacon duties at church. The girls really missed them both. I guess the Lord is preparing us for changes though as next year brother will be away at college :(

Notice the Satna picture? Check out the finger in the mouth and the look on her face ;) Do ya think she was a little nervous? Thank goodness big sister was there to do all of the talking. Of course it wouldn't be BWS without a little face paint. A snowman was the choice this year.

I pray you all are not as stressed as me and I hope you will receive all of the blessings you deserve.

I'm so behind

Do you ever notice how quickly time flies as you get older? I feel like I've not gotten anything done today that I had intended. for example, I had planned on wrapping presents today. Instead I took a long "princess bath" with the little one. I had planned on sitting down with W to go over this together. Instead, he is working on the 1/2 bath and I'm sitting alone. I had planned on writing our Christmas letter (yes I'm one of those annoying people). Instead I laid the paper on the table and it's till there. I guess what I should've said is that time only flies by when you don't use it as wisely as you should.

Our first blog

Well I am going to finally stop stalking everyone else's blog (yeah right) and make up our own. I am very excited and hope that I will enjoy our own as much as I enjoy everyone's. It will take me awhile to get in the routine I'm sure but knowing me, I will be addicted before long and you will be sick of me. Have a blessed day!!!!!
