Nephews

This young man is having a birthday today and I want to give him a shout out. Cam-rod I can not believe you are 10 today!!! It just seems like yesterday that I got to witness you coming into this world. I love you buddy and can't wait to throw you in the waves tomorrow at the beach!
This young man is leaving in the morning on a mission trip to Peru and we couldn't be more proud of him. He accepted Jesus as his savior 2 years ago at a youth conference and he has not stopped serving Him since. The Lord really plugged him into an awesome youth group and they are going to Peru to serve in some orphanages, to teach in a vacation bible school and to help build some homes. Michael.... YOU ROCK!!!!!!! I can't wait to see and hear all about the journey the Lord is sending you on. We are in much prayer for you and your team.
Michael and A#2.

Silly kids!

They never stop!!
A proud uncle and aunt!!!

A graduate, babies and a little friendly jousting

This is our wonderful nephew that graduated last weekend. We are so proud of him. We went for a visit to help his family celebrate the end of his high school journey, the beginning of his college life and a mission trip to Peru that the Lord is sending him on. He will be attending VCU in the fall where he has been accepted into their art program. You ROCK Michael and we know that God has mighty things in store for you!
I think I have told you before that one of my most favorite things to do is jump on a trampoline and I do believe my girls like it just as much. A#2 and A#3 jumped all weekend long.

Our nephew Cade-man mid flip.
All I heard was watch this Mommy, all weekend long.
Mommy's turn!

One of the babies that our family has been blessed with recently. Mr Noah just celebrated his first birthday on Monday. He is the sweetest thing ever! And he is a ham bone just like his Daddy!
Mr Mason and his Mommy. This little guy had a rough start but prayers were answered and he is WONDERFUL!!
We were able to spend time with some family that we don't get to see very often. Hubby and his cousin Dave grew up together and now only see each other every couple of years. They have the best time when they are together. We miss you David and are so glad we got to spend some time with you.
Oh mercy! We had so much fun on this contraption. A#2 romped on this thing all weekend. It was a combination of a bungee race, bouncy thing and jousting competition.
Hubby and Dave going at it all while hubby is singing Hail to the Redskins ( Dave is a Dallas fan).
And guess who won?
Yep!!! The Redskins baby!!!!!!
He had to rest after that one.
Then it was time for the women. Me and my SIL took on each other.
We had to pose first of course.
Let the games begin.
And for some reason.... SHE TOOK ME OUT!!!! f-shew glad that's over ;)
She had to take a break after it was over. I'm not sure who I am after in the back ground.
The next day, A#2 right back on the trampoline. I love this picture.

My MIL and all 9 of her grand babies. We are such a blessed family!
There is a story behind this picture. When my SIL and cousin were pregnant someone was taking a picture of their bellies and my BIL jump in a stuck out his belly. Naturally after the babies are born there has to be an after picture and this is it.
He was wore out!
A#3 giving goodbye hugs to Mr Noah. He liked it and had the best smile afterwards.
We had such a great weekend and hated to leave. Where does the time go? It seems like just yesterday A#1 and Michael were as small as these two and now they are both college students!!

Playing catch up- The May episode

** Warning!! You will be sick of my family after looking at this post due to the amount of pictures!
May has been off the meter as far as busy goes. Here are just a few of the things the Blaine's have been up to.
We have been to our nephew's pre school graduation. Here's the little scholar in his cap and gown.
By looking a that face you would never know he was voted to have the best sense of humor would you?
We have been on field trips to the library for story time. This day was all about pirates, can you tell?
Following story time there was a walk down to the park for some play time. It was a beautiful day!! A#3 had so much fun.
We have been to Camp Skeeter with a bunch of 3rd graders. Man what a day! I only stayed for 4 hours and I was exhausted. A#2 had 4 more hours after that and she was whooped when she got home. They played volleyball, basketball, kickball (which was my assigned station), did tons of relays, made s'mores and lots of other fun things.
This is just a few of the 3rd graders. They were waiting so patiently for things to begin.

Here she is waiting in line to play kick ball. I was so excited that I got to work here. Growing up, kick ball was one of my favorite things to play!!
Go A#2!! What a kick!!
Out of all the things the kids got to do, picking up the little frogs seemed to be on the top of every one's list. They were EVERYWHERE!!!!!!
This was the strangest thing. I mean they were EVERYWHERE!!
A#2 and one of her best friends.
Me and A#2.
Somewhere in May A#2 had her Brownie ceremony and bridged up to be a Junior Girl Scout. They have the very best troop of girls and their leaders are FANTASTIC!!
The whole gang.
On the same day as the Brownie ceremony we had a baby shower for my sister. Please continue to lift them up in prayer. We are waiting to get an update on baby Lily this week to see is she is doing any better and to see what the surgery will involve when she is born. My sister really needs prayer!
We were blessed enough to have some family come and visit. Hubby worked hard on the grilling while they were here. Hubby has an uncle that is younger than he is and they are fairly close. They are A LOT alike! They are currently on a cross country trek with 2 of their boys and we were one of their first stops. They had not been to C'burg since hubby and I got married... 20 years ago! WE see them several times a year when we go to NoVa to visit the in-laws so it was nice to have them here for a change. We did absolutely nothing but visit and eat! The kids stayed in the pool all day while we laughed and had so much fun.
Oh yeah and there was the jumping rope. A#2 will always find time for that. Hubby and uncle Drew even jumped for awhile.
The kiddos on Sunday morning before they hit the road again. Pray for them on their journey. I think they are currently in Arizona.
I think his uncle misses him!
And then we have had a birthday. A#2 turned 9!! She had a few of her friends over to swim and party. It's so fun to listen to little girls conversations.
A#2 and one of her friends diving for rings.
Every girl needs polish and lip gloss!
Enough sidewalk chalk to last her a year! She loved it!!
A#3 was checking out her sister's loot.
A pool full of girls.
Whose bright idea was the noise makers?
And the next day A#2 had her cousins over for her birthday.
The 5 of them.
Every girl loves bling!
But judging by the look on her face, her favorite thing was her new basketball goal. Yep, her Daddy was proud.
And then we have had A#3's pre shcool program. They did such a good job. Here they are saying the pledge of allegiance.
Waiting so patiently.
God is so good. He answers prayer.
In rainbow town the green people read their bibles.

She really had a good year.
Even I had a good pre school year and got a treat from Miss Sarah.
Well I warned you!! Are you sick of us yet? And to think, the summer has only just begun.
