July.... so far!

How awesome is this!! The day sweet Lily girl came home from the hospital, this was in our pond. Ever heard of a "God thing"? Well I believe that's exactly what this is. We've been waiting all summer for it to bloom and on that very morning that we received the call that she was coming home, I walked outside to witness this beauty.
These next pictures might not be in order but it's just a glimpse of what we've been up to. We have had company which has been so fun.
Mr Mason didn't like the pool like we thought he would.

Lily was home and I went for a visit. Aunt Tinie needed to hold her again.

We got to spend some time with Lily's 2 big brother's and we had so much fun. They were with us all day on the 4Th of July and they swam their hearts out! They were so glad to get home though and to have their new sister with them.

We invaded Lake Anna with the family! It was a wonderful day of swimming, boat riding, tubing and PLENTY of eating.
A#3 thought her lake... "Lake Anna" was so much fun. She was wore out by the time we left.

Have I mentioned how many babies we are surrounded by? Mr Mason is just one of them.

And then there is Mr Cole. Doesn't he look like a little man?
Oops, this one is out of order. July 4Th we had some friends over. The men folk decided to play an "old man game", croquet. The competition was fierce!

And then one day Miss Lily got to come to our house. This was the first time my girls got to meet her. A#2 didn't know what to do and A#3 just wants to touch her feet.
So as usual, busy, busy. busy!! Hubby surprised me with a trip to Texas for my big birthday to see our very bestest friends. We are leaving this week for a few days and I can't even begin to tell you just how excited I am. Watch out Dallas!!!! The Blaine's are heading to town. YIIPPPEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My birthday was complete

A couple days before my birthday Miss Lily was taken out of the NICU and moved into a regular room where her mommy and daddy could hold her and tend to her every need. Hubby and I went to see them and were so excited that I got to hold her for the first time. "That's it," I said. "My birthday is now complete!!" What a darling she is.
Me and sweet Lily girl.
See her hand on her face? That's where she likes it. Even when she was in her mommy's tummy, she always had her hand at her face.

I think I'll just stay here the rest of the day.
And then hubby got to have a little one on one with her. They just laid there and talked a little ( notice the hand?) and her Uncle Wayne told her how beautiful she is and how much we love her.
Miss Lily has been home for a couple of weeks now but I ask you to please continue to pray for her. She has had a few setbacks and is waiting to hear from the doctor about some test results even today. My sister needs prayer as well as my brother in law. It has been such an amazing thing to see how the Lord has moved but there is still a road that they have to walk down.

Sweet Lily girl we love you sooooooo much!!

Total shock

That's what I was in when me and hubby got home from browsing those few stores after Fosters birthday and I walked in to a house full of friends and family for a surprise birthday party FOR ME!!! Those same friends and family that we had just been with at Foster's party had somehow made it to my house, made food and decorated. There were my girls that we had just left at my sister's to "play", there was my son that was supposed to be at "work" and there was lots of my hubbies family that traveled in that morning and had been at our house since we left to go to the other party. WHAT?!!!!??!!!

I was in complete shock! I had no idea. I couldn't even tell when we parked in our driveway that this was going on. Their cars were hidden behind my house. IT WAS WONDERFUL!!!!
I'm pretty sure I had that cheesy smile on my face the rest of the day.

Opening lots of goodies from everyone. IT WAS WONDERFUL!!
Gift cards are the best! Especially Tar-Jay gift cards :)

Keepin Cool at the Pool. A new flag for outside, by the pool.

This is what the kids were waiting for. Weren't we just at a party for you Foster?
Mr Noah and his Uncle W.B. (aka the surprise party planner).

IT WAS WONDERFUL!!!
A pool full of little girls.

And little boys!

And babies!

And a wonderful husband that would plan all of this just for me. IT WAS WONDERFUL!!!!

Swingsets, Polar Bears and Birthdays

I love this picture of A#3! This was at our nephew's birthday party on his new swing set. The kids had a blast checking out the new swings and the slide.
Good times were had by them all as the adults ate too much and got way too hot in the sun.
This was his cake that my sister made for the party. Foster is CRAZY about animals, especially "pola" bears. Didn't she do a great job?!

Bring on the presents!! Animals, animals and more animals. Even the new Wii game we got for him was about .... yep, animals.
The girls were having so much fun that my sister asked if they could stay and play the rest of the day. Well duh!! Of course they can Aunt Dee. A#1 left from the party to go to work and hubby and I were just gonna go do a little browsing in some stores and then head home to get some things accomplished...... or so I thought.

Baby Girl

These long summer days can really wear a girl out. A#3 was waiting on her Daddy to come and read and pray with her when she asked me if she could have a cold cloth for head because she was so hot and tired. When I went in her room to tell her goodnight this is how I found her. I guess the cloth worked!

Bless her heart.
We had been in the pool this day and when we came in she was sitting in my room waiting to take a shower when she asked if I would take some pictures with her. "Just me and you Mommy!"

Sweet baby girl!

Date night

Upon my insistence, me and the hubster actually went on a date back in June. We went to see Sugarland and Billy Currington in concert and it was a blast! This was one of the best concerts I have seen in a long time and let me say if you have the chance to see Sugarland, take it! Nothing but pure talent and energy.

Ignore the nose injury. All I know is it involved a softball game.
Holly Williams, Hank Williams Jr's daughter. She was fantastic!

Billy Currington, he's a cutie!
Sugarland!!Sugarland as the B-52's. The Love Shack Baby!!!!!

Meet Lily!

June 23 Miss Lillian Camille came into our lives and what a blessing the Lord has given us. I had requested prayer several weeks back for Miss Lily as they had discovered a bowel obstruction and knew she was going to need surgery as soon as she was born. The first thought I had when I got to see her in the NICU was ,"she's perfect." She had her surgery the very next day and we were all in prayer as we waited to hear how she was. Hubby and I went down to the hospital to be with my family and we were in the room when the doctor came in and said everything went great! Better than he anticipated. We knew it was answered prayers and that our Great Physician Himself had performed what we had asked Him to. This is Lily and her mommy. I can not even imagine what my sister and her husband were going thru having to watch her and not pick her up. They renewed my faith in a mighty way!
Isn't she gorgeous!!! She hung on to that pappy for days because she wasn't able to eat until she was 9 days old. Can you imagine?
Sweet Lily girl is what I call her.

I have so many pictures to show you and stories to tell about how amazing she is doing and how much her big brothers love her!

Jesus loves you Sweet Lily girl and so does your Aunt Tinie!!

Ooops! I forgot to post the beach pictures first!

I thought I would post everything in the order in which they happened and then I realized I forgot our beach trip. Good grief! In June me and A#2 and A#3 went to Va Beach with the g-parents, a very pregnant sister, BIL and 2 nephews, my grandmother, aka Mommaw, and Mr Pugsley (my canine brother). Hubby had to work and A#1 had to fly. We were able to stay a few days and we had a great time. My girls love the beach just like their Mommy ;)
this was one night after being on the beach all day as we were getting ready for bed. We were wore out!
A#2, A#3, Cam and Pey playing in the water and digging for "she-shells".

People ask why I would put them in matching bathing suits and besides the fact that they just look cute, it is very easy to keep an eye on them when you are looking for the same color.

Grand-daddy and Grandma got a golf cart for a few days and the kiddos loved it. It was street legal so we all had our seat belts and booster seats.
A#2 and Pey getting ready to get in our pool at our beach house.

Beach toes!!! A#3 wasn't around when me and A#2 took this but hers were done too. Notice the difference in skin tone. A#2 gets an incredible tan in the summer and you can even see it in hers toes.
