On top of everything else, A#2 turned 8 on Saturday. Not only did we have graduation cake, but also birthday cake. My hat goes off to my sister D. She made both cakes and they were great. She's a beginner but I think she is doing a wonderful job.
We waited until later on to sing Happy Birthday and open gifts. She was thrilled with everything she received. Especially the shopping money and the new bike.
Her other favorite gift, a new snowglobe! She started collecting these a couple of years ago and her Nena got this one for her. She liked it because it's not Christmas themed. It plays Amazing Grace.
Happy Birthday baby girl! I can't believe it's been 8 years already. We love you and are so proud of you and your heart.
