Safe and sound

*Edited- 3:30 p.m. just talked to A#1 and he is wore out. He said they had a really good day but he was super tired. He was unable to get much sleep on the plane and if you know A#1 you know that he is not a sleeper anyway. He said they have a busy day for tomorrow and he was looking forward to it. Dinner was good and he was going back to his room to turn in for the evening.Pray that he will receive the rest that he needs.

He made it!!! Praise the Lord, he made it. We got our phone call at 2:30 a.m. and they were in London. I could hear all of the kids in the background and they were so excited! Hopefully we will speak to A#1 himself today but with him you never know. It was around 7:30 a.m. London time so their day was just getting started. Here's what they are doing today-
Tuesday July 8 2008
LONDON, ENGLAND
• Welcome to England! Introductions to your People to People delegation manager
and motor coach driver mark the commencement of your program.
• Visit the John F. Kennedy Memorial at Runnymede. It was here in 1215, that
King John sealed the Magna Carta. As you may remember from history class,
the Magna Carta forms the basis of England’s present constitution.
• We have planned a special first day in England, which we will reveal on your
arrival! Learn about the Druids, how the Romans influenced Britain's history and
how Londoners coped with the German bombs during WWII in this amazing
venue.
• If time allows, we will visit Greenwich best known for its maritime history and
giving its name to the Greenwich Meridian (0% longitude and Greenwich Mean
Time). Step forward or back in time as you cross the Meridian in Greenwich Park
before travelling on to your hotel.

WOW sounds like fun doesn't it? I'll keep you posted!
