Well my beautiful girl you are heading into a whole new chapter in your life and I know, as usual, you are going to shine. I remember the very day that I started 6th grade just like it was yesterday. It's so hard for me to believe that now you are heading into this part of your life. You are such an amazing young lady and I look so forward to watching you grow and become even more beautiful. Keep true to yourself, always be a good friend, stand up for those that can't stand up for themselves and NEVER be afraid to dream big!!

To my Addie, I remember how proud I was to have a daughter born and thought to myself how beautiful you were when I was trying to keep the light out of your eyes when you were in that bed they laid you in. Its so amazing how you stole my heart as soon as I laid my eyes on you. Now when I look at you, you still have my heart and you probably don't even realize it. The thought of you growing up and turning into a young woman makes me want to be selfish and keep you to myself. But that would'nt be fair to either of us. So much I would like to say, but not sure I can write what I am feeling. Just know I am always here for you and as your mom says dream BIG and be yourself. My advice for you at this stage of your life now is, enjoy everyday and don't take it for granted. Take time to be a girl {Daddy's} of course, don't do something just to make someone else happy if its not what your heart and soul is leading you to do. So go to middle school with your head held high and you values close. Remember God is good all the time and He is always with you. Love Dad
