Sorry they are such small pics but they were sent from A#1 via his cell and this was the best I could get. This first one was taken while he was still in reception waiting to start basic back in May.
And the next 2 were sent this past Sunday. He has completed his basic training and started his AIT training. It has been so great to hear his voice after not being able to speak to him for 7 weeks. It seems as if his platoon would earn a phone call and then turn right around and lose it so that's why it took so long. He sounds great but I ask that you keep him in your prayers as he finishes up. My goodness it is hard for a mom to see her son holding a weapon like that!!!
I can't wait to hug that young man!!!

wow...I sorta understand. My younger brother was/is in the Army. He is currently in the reserves after serving 4 years of active duty in Iraq and Afghanistan (GOD has been GOOD!) Every time he posted pics of him and his "guns" I freaked! However he does still have a soft spot, we has a pic with him and his kitten on his shoulders that he "adopted" over in Iraq LOL! My prayers are with your son, every step of the way!!!
