A#2 + 7

This was the scene at our house last weekend, a pool full of girls, lots of i-pods, cell phones, loud music, birthday cake and plenty of snacks.

A#2 turned 11 and wanted nothing but to have a sleep over with a house full of girls and that's just what she got.

They arrived around 5 that evening and hit the pool around 6. They were in the pool until 7:30 then jumped out to have pizza then jumped right back in. Got out around 8:30 for cake and presents then right back in. Got out around 10 for a fire and s'mores then right back in. Finally around midnight we insisted they start getting out. :(

I have no idea what time they finally went to sleep, if at all. The last time they were in the kitchen heating up pizza was 2:30 a.m and then they reappeared downstairs around 7 a.m. and from there broke out the doughnuts. Isn't that the best part of a slumber party, the junk food?

It was a good time had by all and we are still trying to make up for the lost sleep. 11 year olds are a lot of fun and have way too much energy :)

11 years old!!! She is a little excited :)

And then she was sad again because there was no cake on her birthday plate.

But then she was happy again because the famous cheesecake made it's appearance :)

Happy Birthday sweet A#2. You are such an amazing young lady and I can not wait to see what God has in store for you. I am so proud to be your mommy!!!
