Didn't do so well once again of tracking my wardrobe for the week. I have the best of intentions every week and then I get busy or I think to myself is the world really gonna stop if I don't do it? Of course I know the answer to that and believe me, my world is in such an uproar lately the last thing I should be concerned with is what I wear. But, I started this to keep myself accountable on several levels so even if it's only one day that I remember then that's what I'll do.

Another addition of WIWW. It's been a VERY long week but that's a whole other post that I will be writing about soon. Let's just say it involves mammograms and doctors (insert eye roll here). I did better this week at logging my wardrobe!! Being in the workforce again has been a challenge for me as far as getting up and putting a little more thought into cute, sassy clothes. Shirt- Old Navy Leggings- Target (seriously chunky girls like me should not wear leggings but I can't seem to convince myself of that yet) Headband- stolen from my daughter ;) Jewelry- Sabika...of course! Another thing chunky girls shouldn't wear, cargo pants with pockets right where you are the heaviest. As of this morning after looking at this picture, these pants are being passed on. This one is for the shoes!! I got these to wear when I went to see my boyfriend Prince ;) they are so stinkin comfy I can't believe it! Looking so forward to getting some cute maxi dresses to wear them with.

New routines, head shots and a little WIWW

A totally new routine for this girl. After 7 years home with the kiddos I am back to work and I couldn't be more grateful! I have returned to life as a working mom/hair stylist/skin care tech. So far we have all adjusted very well, with the exception of some very sleepy evenings for me, which is a blessing after the past 2 years of not much sleep at all. That is the group shot of all of us at work as we moved into a new location and had a Grand Opening.

And this was my head shot for the local ad letting everyone know that I am back.

WIWW Week 2

Week 2 of WIWW!!

Off to run errands and have coffee with a very dear friend on this day.

Boots- Texas Target!!! When I went to Texas in September these are one of three boots that I bought at Target and crammed in my suitcase and brought home. Ladies they were... $8!!

And this would be what you would find me in if you dropped by my house on about 3 days a week. A pair of yoga pants and a t-shirt. I invested in several Under Armor shirts at Christmas and let me tell yo they are well worth it!! I wear them around the house, I wear them to work out in, I wear them under shirts or sweaters. They wash great and feel so comfortable.

What I wore Wednesday Episode 1

I'm jumping on the WIWW band wagon!! I've been keeping up with so many ladies that link to The Pleated Poppy on Wednesday's for a while now because I LOVE clothes and I love to see how everyone styles themselves. My thinking is it really is a good way to get some new ideas but for me it is an accountablilty to myself too. There are days I live in yoga pants and under armor shirts, a lot of days actually. Given my life that's really not a bad thing but sometimes you can let that get you in a slump and I am trying to move away from any type of slump what so ever! Plus I need accountability for my weight! Losing is not really the hard part for me, it's the maintaining that I struggle with. I am a very emotional eater and this past year putting some weight back on is an indication of what the year has been like for me. So, here's to being accountable. Here's to maintaining. And, here's to cute clothes, shoes and jewelry!!!
